DirecTivo HD Tivo vs PVR

I have a r10 directivo now. I love it. I couldn't think about using one of the DirecTV PVR/DVR models. I saw my Mom's Directv PVR and wow, I think I love my tivo more than before. Yes the pvr does have more features, but I'll stick with my tivo.

So this brings me to my question... I don't believe that DirecTV has any new HD Tivos around anymore.

So...... which DircTivo HD Model do you all recommend and why? How old (read out of date) are these models? Are they still worth getting? Bugs etc.

Or is it gneral concensus that a Directivo HD models are out of date and it is better to go with the directv HD pvr.

Thanks

There's only one DIRECTV HD TiVo, the HR10-250. It'll work great for capturing HD over the air signals and the few HD channels by satellite it gets nowbut won't pick up the new HD channels DIRECTV is getting ready to launch. Check out my sig if you want to compare the HR10-250 to the HR20 (it also compares the DISH ViP 622/722 models). Lots of good info over at dbstalk.com too about the HR20 if you're interested.
It not a matter of a consensus, the fact is, if you want the new channels it's the only option you have.

So no more tivo if I want HD?
Eventually that will be true (other then for off-air hd locals), but until that time all you'll get is the current 10 or so D* channels and none of the new "up to 100 new HD channels " D* is promising to begin sending any day now.
