I have had 2 tivo hd's for many years that have worked great. I have replaced power supplies, hard drives as needed but I came across a new issue.

One of my tivo's rebooted on occasion and I figured it might be a hard drive or power supply issue. Before I made any changes, this occurred. My unit no longer has any program data for season passes or to search shows to record. However, the guide data still goes out 14 days and it is making regular calls fine and doing garbage collection daily. I can record from the guide with no problems. Also, i now notice it does not reboot as it once did. I have not run across this behavior. Has anyone else? Thanks for looking.

Be careful. I had a TiVo HD (TCD652160) fail after 13 years due to what I believe is a motherboard problem that only WeaKnees knows how to fix (for $180 + shipping!) - luckily I bought another unit with lifetime with a dead hard drive for about $40 and made a working unit. (we had soldered new capacitors on our power supply before that)

No one here was able to fully help with the problem, blaming it on the hard drive and power supply even after I replaced both.

You did the right thing by replacing your hard drive and power supply, just keep an eye on your TiVo and maybe put it in standby when you're not using it.
