I've got a bunch of Tivo units. In the past I've been able to 'Cast' to them. Right now, though, I can't see my Roamio units. All I can see is a Premiere XL4.

Is there something that needs to be activated or reconfigured to let the Roamio units show up?

This used to work but now it's gone?

Or is there some dynamic DNS/zeroconf/bonjour voodoo going on?

Are they all on the same subnet, and the same physical segment? All the units run the same YouTube app and should show as cast targets, but hopping segments, AP roaming and things like that play havoc with all the rendezvous secret sauce that makes it work

I was watching several YouTube videos the other night on my (2016 Amazon Fire HD8 with Google Play Store added) tablet and, remembering this thread of yours, decided to try to 'Cast' a queue to my Roamio Basic on TE3 like I did long ago. Wasn't an option any more. *BUT* my newly opened 2017 Roamio OTA on TE4 *WAS* available. Huh... o_O

From that, I would surmise that the YouTube app on TE3 is either too old or wasn't 'automagically' updated to work with the current YouTube 'Casting' requirements. There *WAS* a new option to 'Cast to TV' (or words to that effect) and it presented me with an 8 character code that I entered on my tablet, IIRC - memory isn't what it used to be  - and then the queue appeared on my Roamio Basic and everything now worked like it used to (for that one specific TiVo Unit that YouTube identified as a TV).

BTW, besides my Roamio OTA with TE4, my TiVo Stream 4K was also listed as an available 'Cast' target.

The 'industrious user' might try deleting the current YouTube app from his TE3 TiVo Unit and then re-installing it to see if an 'upgraded' app appears...

Just for some extra feedback, I just tested it on my TiVo Bolt TE3 and it works fine. All of my TS4K's show up, all of my mini's show up, all of my TV's show up, and my Bolt TE3 shows up. The only TiVo that does not show up is the basic Roamio cable/OTA with TE3.

TE3 and up? Ah, we're hold-outs for the vintage UI. You'll pry Live Guide from my cold dead fingers. It's trivial nonsense like this that drives customers away. Open the door to having to change things and customers often decide 'eff it' and switch away entirely.

TE3 is the "old" UI on Roamio's with Live Guide.
