OK - I've searched and searched. And I've installed, uninstalled, turned off UAC, turned it back on, used the zapper. You name it. I've done it. 2.5 seems to install correctly. However, no matter what I do, though, I still have the same "transfer service not running" error that I had w/ 2.4.
Yes, I could go through the rigamarole of the pvrblog's manual service activation, but this 2.5 announcement said it would work with vista - so I'm thinking maybe i'm doing something wrong myself.
On a side note, I get that "Not enough storage is available to process this command." that some folks are getting - though there are at least 25 Gig available.
Can ANYONE help me? I searched these forums high and low and tried everything i could find. I'm beginning to think i just need to scrap this tivo and get the free dvr from the cable company...
