Decent Price???

OK... I called the local D* place and they said I could get an HD DVR (not sure of model or anything like that), for $299, which includes dish replacement and HD channels. I could also get a regular DVR for $99 that would include everything, but obviously not record anything in HD. Does anyone know if this is a decent price, or am I getting hoodwinked?

PS: Sorry if in wrong area. I usually don't write in the HD forums.

No. It sounds pretty much like top retail IMO.

You could do better calling D* directly.

I just called D* directly and the woman I talked with told me the exact same price of $299 for an HD-DVR that can be paid in 3 monthly installments.
