Dead Series 3 after power glitch

We had a very brief power glitch of about a second and Tivo never came back to life. This is the second time this happened, the first time, about 6 months ago, it eventually came back on.

I swapped the power supply from a running unit with no subscription but that didn't work. All I get when powering up is a ticking sound, nothing else, even with the HD not connected.

Any ideas, or is it time to call it quits for this Tivo?

UPDATE: I found the thread on the hair drier fix and it worked, even though I didn't even have the blinking green light!!

Thanks to these forums, S3 is at 15 years and counting, hopefully it will go for another 10.
