I think my Motorola DCT2000 is starting to go bad. When I change channels the TV starts out in black and white and then after 10 to 15 seconds the color returns. I'm using the Serial port on the DCT 2000 but I think my comcast office is now giving out the DCT700 small digital boxes. Do these boxes work well with "IR" control" or does anyone know it there is another digital box available. I was checking out the Motorola web site and there are new "DCH" boxes with "M-Cards" but I don't know if comcast is distributing these yet.

OK I got one these DCT700(small motorola box) from comcast. Where do I plug the "IR" sensor plug into the back???

IR Blasters get stuck over the IR receiver on the front of the box.

I'm sorry for some reason I was thinking the "IR"s are plugged into the back of the cable box instead of the TIVO. It's been a Long day so far.
