I am on FIOS. All of a sudden today, local channels are messed up on TiVo guide. Specifically Fox has now “moved” to channel 509, and CBS to channel 513. Obviously fake, as they are in reality still where they were. Channels 505 and 509 respectively. What is going on?

Same thing with mine although wusa CBS just got removed from the lineup, not moved to 513.

But broadcasts are still correct

Yup me too, looks like it is picking up a few Baltimore channels and getting rid of some of the DC in the guide (and of course fios isn't doing that)

I did chat support and they told me to re-do the guided setup.

It didn't help immediately. Maybe overnight?

They said if the guided setup didn't fix it to call tech support.

Me too, out in Bowie, MD.

None of the channels actually changed, but now the TiVo thinks 509 (WUSA) is WBFF, 505 (WTTG) is WBBZ, and 517 (WMDO) is WTTG.

Please report the line-up errors. If enough people do it, maybe they will fix it quicker.

I noticed that FIOS has a fight with WUSA just about every year for New Year's -- maybe this is another one of those. (?)

In lots of areas stations are moving OTA channel frequencies to begin 4K broadcasting. I expect Tivo, as usual, will have the guide screwed up until users report the changes.

This came through on my TiVo as an ordinary line-up change, complete with notification message. NOTHING to do with set-up or malfunction. They just put through a change that is not true.

Yes! Go to the TiVo site and report the incorrect line-up! If you don't report it, they won't fix it!

Same here, in Fairfax County (VA). I reported it to TiVo today via email through their web site. If you are affected, please make sure you report it.

I'm in Fairfax County and just got off the phone with TiVo technical support. I was told that they'll have to check with FiOS and then it could take 7-10 business days(!) for them to update the guide and push it back out.

Same problem (Fios, local channel snafu). I emailed tivo “support” and their “solution” was to go to “reset defaults” and perform a “guided setup”. Of course, that screen says it will take 30 minutes plus an additional 30 minutes for everything to finish downloading. It’s obviously a problem on their end but it will take a few more complaints (and days) for them to realize it. I didn’t do the guided setup.

I do on 509. I've gone in and setup manual recordings or recording whatever the guide says is on "Fox" at that time. Very few recordings so I could do it but still a pain.

I'm in Montgomery County, MD and having this same problem. It is also being discussed at this thread.

Where is the quality control? It looks like TiVo/XPeri made the changes with no evidence that they should be implemented. I thought that was the reason for the "Source of information" box at Tivo Customer Support Community.

Thanks for the SD tip. Quick fix until folks at Tivo figure out they have screwed the advertisers on CBS and Fox.

I saw it here, too -- lost Jeopardy last night. My first thought was that it was incorrectly switched to the Howard/Anne Arundel Fios lineup, which has (had?) a mix of Baltimore and D.C. locals.

(I just noticed this while checking full channel lineup … but bizarre TiVo didn't change that too).
