While I'm happy that Floyd is gone, and I enjoyed Wade's routine...

- WTF with Scary Spice being bottom two :eek: :mad: :eek: (of course I don't vote so I shouldn't complain). But Cuban was 100x worse than she was and should have been down in the cellar!

- There was a perfect score and yet they brought back that lame superman number? :rolleyes:

- Gloria Estephan bags out and the backup singers have to pick up the slack! I felt so bad for them... clearly they weren't prepared and while they did the best they could without much practice it was still lame. :(

- Please... enough of Wayne Newton!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

On the positive side, Wade was good. I was a little put off by his "staying in character" so much before the number, but once the dance started I forgot about that. The camera could have stayed back a little further to let us see what was going on, but it was hard given how much movement there was all over the stage. I thought the three dancers in the box was a nice image and well-done.

My guess is that they are trying to cycle through the star cast as best they can, giving them as many of them a chance to display their best (of course, they can't get to everyone...but they won't choose the same couple week after week, even if it was the best)...

I believe they look for opportunities, and felt that this was their best shot at giving him a "showcase" opportunity...

I think we are getting a sense of how big the fan bases are. I was pretty surprised. Mel looked pretty distressed she was in the bottom two as well.

When they passed over Mark and then Marie, I knew things were going to be strange.

I think the judges fully realize they blew the scoring big time the previous night and let the dancers know it.

continuing one line of thought from the prior thread.....I downloaded Julianne's song off of iTunes. If you are into country, it's pretty good.

Of course I'm already a fan, but I LOVED Wade Robson's routine.

The right person went home this week, although Cuban should have been the other person in the bottom 2. Mel did a great job the other day.

I'm not watching this show this season due to conflicts, but I tuned in last night purely for Wade Robson's routine. Loved it. Though I'd hate to see what he dreamed about as a child!

Loved Wade's routine. I'm sorry that Floyd had to go but he (along with Mark) was the worst of the celebrities..

I can't bear listening and watching Samantha. I have to use the 30 second skip to avoid her and wish that Cat could co-host the show.

I think it's a whole lot simpler than that. Just follow the money trail. What network is that guys' soap opera on again? Oh yeah ABC! They are simply using a top rated show of their own to push a soap opera of their own. Simple marketing IMO.

I think we maybe heard about 2 minutes of Samantha's voice between the two episodes. The only parts we watched in real time were the performances, the judges comments, and the eliminations. We can see the score paddles perfectly well in 2xFF.

What we did hear from her was her usual awful crap .
