Dancing TiVo Man When Turn on in Morning

Many thanks. I looked for a thread, but couldn't find it.

OTOH -TV is relatively new so I'm glad it's not just my unit or setup.
Maybe they will fix it??

He's a frequent visitor at my house... press any key and "POOF" he's gone

BUT - why does it happen? Did it do a reset? What if I am recording something?

The last software update added that "feature"... not much you can do about it except wait for another software update and the new "features" that may bring... but don't hold your breath waiting... updates are rare unless new features are added... and that's rare.
