On the TiVo remote there is a button to forward 30 seconds through a program.

Is there a way to customize the forward time to let’s say 10 seconds? Either program the 30-second button to 10 seconds or program another button to 10 seconds?

This would be useful for watching football or baseball where the time between plays or pitches is somewhat less than 30 seconds.

Could program a harmony remote to skip ahead 30 seconds and then rewind back 8 seconds a couple times.

Slight modification: would do it the other way (rewind first) if he's using it for football, to avoid spoilers.

Too bad the usually good TiVo remote is not programmable. This should be a feature request to the TiVo people.
