So does anybody still watch? I thought Ted Danson did a good job and I'm looking forward to there being a shakeup in the leadership around there. He seems like he'll be a tough boss but with a quirky personality.

I hoped they were going to have Ray be in jail as his exit story, but apparently he just left to be with his ex I guess. I wasn't quite sure if it sounded like he was asked to leave and that's where he ended up or if he left specifically to just be with his ex.

I still watch and enjoy the show. I need a few more episodes to form an opinion on Danson's character.
I didn't care for the way they just "mentioned" what happened to Ray.
Thought there would be a little more ending to it.
WHAT was that - when Danson's character said about Nick ... "too bad he has to go..." something like that
?
Yeah I was trying to figure that out as well. It almost seemed like they're getting ready to fire them all or something.

What did I miss - with Eckley (spelling?) Daughter - she get fired in LA ? why?

 I didn't really make that part out either. Seems like they're setting it up for her and Greg to get together though.

I think it was something like..."I would hate to lose him".

"Langston fallout" she said.
Yeah, apparently there was lots of fallout for everyone over the Langston plot. Catherine was demoted, Nick's job potentially being in danger, Eckley's daughter losing her job in LA.
I enjoyed it, as well as Danson. I liked his oddball ways--completely different oddness than they've had before. But I do find it a bit odd that no one had 10 seconds to warn Nick about their new boss. Really? They're THAT busy?
I may be the only viewer to miss Fishperson. Can't stand the over acted cartoonish Danson character. His debacle really made me miss Grissom.

I got the impression that they didn't warn him on purpose.

Why, though? Are they punishing him for the Langston debacle (apparently he was in Hawaii for classes while the fallout was going on?) or just to let him get the full effect as they did when Danson arrived? One sentence from anyone would have cleared it up.
