Is it possible to take an existing hard drive (it was once upgraded using Instantcake but has been over written by DirecTV) and copy its settings (like season pass) and recordings to a hard drive that has been upgraded using Instantcake 6.2?

I've read about using Tiger's MFS Tools to copy settings and recordings to a larger drive but I'm not sure if will work on an Instatcake'd drive.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would not think how the TiVo image on your drive was created would make any difference, it should be copy-able to a new drive, using something like MFSTools - I successfully copied my original RS-TX20 drive last night from a 120GB to 500GB. Drive had too much vibration and hum so I went back to the original drive though.
