I have many hours of OTA recordings on this Bolt 500 GB DVR. No recording less than a month old.

Are any of these copy-protected? How do I know when a recording is C-P’d? Is there a unique icon in the status column in My Shows ?

Thanks.

No, copy-protection is for cable and is transmitted with the cable programming flags (there's one for "one copy only" which allows streaming, and "zero copies" meaning it can't leave the device).

OTA does not have this.

It's really meant for premium channels - so recorded pay per view, or premium channels like HBO aren't copyable, but it's grown to be basically everything on cable.

I don't believe there's any way to tell unless you're on a remote TiVo trying to view content, but pyTiVo desktop or kmttg might have a flag as they rely on the same mechanism to copy shows off.
