My 4 yr old Bolt recently died and when I called TiVo support to request a replacement they said that due to the age of the device it would be $250 instead of the old $50 flat fee to get a replacement. Apparently they changed the pricing scheme last year but I never received any notification. I pushed them but they were only willing to provide a refurbed Vox for $200. Has anyone had any recent success with getting TiVo to honor the previous $50 flat fee and if so what did you say to them?
