Any ideas on how one can condense the hard drive of one Tivo to another that has more space, without losing any recorded programs?

Do you mean copy?

If you laid exactly waht your problem is and what you are trying to accomplish. I think that we may be able to help you out better.

That's what I'd do -- assuming you have multiple tivos, you can connect them with a cat-5 cable and copy/transfer the recordings from one to the other.
mr. Chris, welcome to the Forum.

I do believe the Op wants to replace the existing HD in their Tivo with a Larger one, and then transfer all recordings over from the Old HD to the New one.

And if that is what the OP wants to do, using the copy option in WinMFS works fine, but requires removing the drive from the Tivo and voiding the warranty.

Isn't voiding the warranty the sacred duty of any good TCF member or TiVo Fan?
:D

voiding the warranty.
only if it still has one.

well said, and I have yet to hear of TiVo voiding a warranty repair over an upgraded hard drive.
