Just a head's up - cool series coming to the Discovery channel.

Prophets of Science. Each week they talk about different science fiction writers. A great list of authors and I can't wait to watch this.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the episodes I saw. Too much of it was cheesy reenactments of "key" moments in the authors' lives. They were also pretty unfocused...not entirely about the writer's impact on science, not entirely about the writer's work, and not sure where it wanted to fall on the continuum. I ended up deleting a couple of episodes unwatched.

(The title is "Prophets of Science Fiction," by the way.)
