I having some issues with Pixelation of a few channels...but primarily CNN

i did a readjustment of my dish, even transponders were 90-100, odd were 65-85

Now even 80-90, odd, 75-85

Still same problem.

Where else should I look?

New LNB? Do they wear out, or get "old"?

TIA

Doug

Gee, no one else has replied? :)

Check your cable connections. Usually, a bad connection results in loss or low even TPs. But, anything is possible. And, yes, the LNB could fail. What dish do you have? If it is the round dual output LNB version, you might consider an upgrade to the 5LNB dish.

Oh yeah, no pixelation on CNN here.

I have been trying to figure out where my pixelation issues are coming from.

I have read people saying that they are having issues on one tuner...but they can tell which one is on...

How do you tell which one is on?

I have seen HDVR2 on eBay saying that tuner 2 has pixelation. so is this a common issue

The 5LNB dish allows reception from all DirecTV satellites, including the new MPEG4 ones.

It seems the HDVR2 has a problem with tuner 2 because of the s-video output. There's some discussion about that on this forum. Try using the composite to see what changes.

Swap the sat inputs and see if the problem stays with tuner 2.
