Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear, The Grand Tour) attempts to run his farm in this show on Amazon Prime.

8 episodes, i'm through 5 at this point.

episode 5 is my favorite thus far with the lambs giving birth.
also kinda cool was when the opened up his farm shop advertising only via his twitter account and of course he gets mobbed by people who want to see him.

A lot of good people in this from Caleb, the 22 year old farm hand, to Gerold, the incomprehensible local. The sheep lady. And his business people or lawyer who deliver the bad news to him which he wants to do poorly considered things.

I think its accessible to all and not merely top gear / grand tour fans.

I binged it over the last couple days and enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm definitely in for Season 2 if it comes.

I'm really enjoying it as well. It shows the public that farming is not an easy job. I love his tractor. I knew that he would be driving something like that after he went to the "antique" tractor dealer. The shepards pie ending to one episode was great.

Very good. It's an interesting dance, having to include some of the Jezza nonsense that we the viewers expect, along with actually having to run a working farm. I do wonder whether there was a lot more work (and more workers) to run a farm of that size, but that wasn't shown because it made better TV just showing the small cast of characters.

It is an interesting question, though... if Jeremy continues, how will he manage it? I mean, I don't know that Amazon will have a second season... they might, but I'm not sure what additional story they would have to tell. Additionally, one expects that Jeremy will eventually be heading out to shoot more Grand Tour, which will take him away from the work on the farm. Plus, he's getting up in age (with health issues, as he indicated)... is he going to want to continue to do this for long?

In season 2 of top gear, Clarkson is interviewing Boris Johnson, and asks him about reports he crashed a tractor.
boris says something like 'well, if you've ever driven a tractor very fast..."
clarkson interrupts to say "no. nobody has"

well.... i imagine somewhere in clarkson's farm, i'll find a video of him driving a tractor fast or at least bragging about the power of his lambo tractor.
