Yeah, three U's in Muuurder in the title. No, I don't know why. :)

This episode was FUN! Almost reminded me of some season 1 episodes, just without Chuck being the bumbling "stay in the car, Chuck" he was back then. So many good parts:
- giant flaming BM on the doorstep
- the writers continuing to hang a lantern on the Subway product placement, and in doing so, continuing the longest running joke in the series
- more Chucks! (Bonus: Casey's reaction to more Chucks!)
- flying pig!

Not sure if I'm crazy about them dipping back into the plotline where one Bartowski looks into Orion's stuff and keeps it a secret from the other. Plus, I'm still not sold on how abruptly Volkoff's daughter flipped from good to bad, to the point where she wants to kill Chuck. But... meh, still a good episode and a good series. I'll roll with it.

Chuck (Zach Levi) is on Leno tonight. I don't know if it's an old episode or a new one. I am TiVoing it for a look tomorrow.
I did like Chuck's realization that he now has a real nemesis...

That's the only thing on your list that I disagree with. I think they should have left the Buy More behind when it was destroyed. The gymnastics the writers go through every week to shoe horn the Buy More antics into the story are exceedingly distracting to me, and they stopped being funny as soon as Chuck stopped working there. I'd rather them cut the show to a 1/2 hour and leave out the Buy More altogether.

Have to disagree here! ;)

I love the Buy More story lines. The whole giant BM thing last night was "Awesome."
Yeah. It always amuses me when I see someone complaining about the BM scenes or Jeffster. It's not as if the whole show is ruined because there is 10 to 15 minutes a show dedicated to BM or Jeffster. They act as an anchor back to the real world Chuck and Morgan come from. Nothing wrong with that.

I happen to have Leno on while I was on the computer last night and saw this. I thought it was a bit older as Zach talked about Timothy Dalton. But then Lisa Lampinilli (sp?) came on and they talked about the Trump roast which just aired recently.

You realize that to the outside world, Chuck is still working at the Buy More?
I don't like that Awesome hasn't really been all that awesome lately.

Yeah, me too. I miss Awesome being awesome. Now he's just mopey. I thought the whole point of the character was that he was awesome at everything. Can't be be awesomely sleep-deprived?

Otherwise, I thought this was a fun ep. Nothing extaordinary about it, but it was fun. I have to admit that the trend we're having of Sarah fully-dressed throughout the episode is making me a bit cranky though.

I agree the writer need to have Sarah lose some of the clothing and have her in more skimpy stuff.

And they allow for plenty of the Subway product placement that "saved" the show.
Guys, she's engaged now!
And the ratings slide continues...

1.5 for last night...

WTH??? I know everything is down across the board, but this show just never caught a break. First season cut short due to writers strike, mid-season start for 3rd season with a late back-whatever pickups for the past two seasons.
OK, just watched it. It was a great episode! Even with it being a "bottle show", there was character development. Chuck continues to evolve and even excel. The "kid" is gone. And chuck said it, the Intersect alone does not mean success.

And Papa Bartowski's laptop doing the scanning and identifying Ellie as "Agent X". Maybe Papa B designed the Intersect for her...

I still feel that for the Intersect to work correctly, it needs to be in the head of a Bartowski.
So, Awesome gave Chuck a fake hard drive? It looked like he was taking it out when Ellie walked in, but she was using the laptop at the end...?
Unless Awesome is totally clueless about computers, he would have to have cloned the drive to another one, so that both Ellie and Chuck ended up with a drive with valid data. Otherwise, Chuck would easily discover that the drive Awesome gave him did not have the right data on it.

Yeah, it turns out the one he had in his hand when Ellie walked in wasn't the original drive that he pulled out, it was the replacement drive that he hadn't put in yet. He couldn't go through with it, so he just gave Chuck the replacement drive.

Chuck doesn't care though about the data on the drive (especially now that he will be the only Intersect for awhile) he just doesn't want Ellie getting involved and/or finding out he is still involved in the spy games.

Of course Chuck cares about the data on the drive. Leaving aside possible matters of National Security, the drive is from his Dad. One of the few things his Dad left behind.
