channel scan with 14.8u2 hdui

Hey all just for kicks today I decided to do an over the air channel scan largly due to Canada finally taking the full digital over the air conversion plunge... years after the USA did. At any rate not having done one since the 14.8 update I was supprised to see my screen go black and a floating white outlined rectangle appeared scanning my channels. It was not the blue screen that I normally saw! It did its thing and like a screen saver it floated all over the screen. I kind of liked it. I wonder if anyone else has seen these small changes at all or was it something i missed in the previous firmware?

My equipment is a premiere Tivo
