Football Games ran long. CBS is now delayed by 50 min and 18 seconds.

Mountain time as phox has said is delayed about 10 min.

Ok, gotta ask.

Do you work for an affiliate?

Only us "in the know" know the exact delay time.

And again, only affects Eastern and Central.
Here in the Mountain, I'm on a 9 minute delay to get everything to stay on time.
(9:42 to be exact)

Pacific still has an hour or so before their prime starts.

He knows because it just happened when he posted it. It was as easy as looking at his watch.

Too bad the idiots at CBS network/corporate don't seem to realize how easy it is to figure out that Football will run long just about every Sunday.

I'm really glad I don't have any interest in any Sunday nite CBS programming this season so I don't have to waste space and time padding the heck out of those recordings.

It's not just CBS. It's been Fox for years also. Futurama was cancelled because it got horrible ratings due to football.

His watch would have to be set to CBS time, exact to the second.

Only people I know that do this happen to work in Master Control for a TV station.

I like being in the know. Either I am a psychic and predicted the exact CBS delay two weeks in a row, I have hacked the CBS BAS system and get updates on my computer or I am sitting at work at a CBS affiliate looking at the BAS and posting updates. Vegas Odds says it is the last option and that is where I am gonna put my money.

Fox has now added a pad from 7-8 to cover for football overrun with Simpsons starting at 8. It will be interesting to see how this works.

5 more minutes and I, along with the rest of Utah, would have been screwed.
(along with parts of Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and Nevada)

Overnight guy wasn't made aware of the Shark prefeed this morning, so didn't record it.

I would have had nothing to air at 9pm.
