I have a TiVo Series 2 running 9.1...540, and I'm using Mac OS X (also have Windows installed).
(Had to munge all my URLs below so I could post this...)
My TiVo has assigned IP 192.168.1.108. I get ping requests back perfectly. I get the "Congrats" web page if I use "hxxp:...192.168.1.108". But I CANNOT CONNECT USING ANY METHOD to download video to my computer.
Roxio TiVo Transfer shows my TiVo in its TIVO DVRs list, but never shows me a list of shows. Of course I've double checked the IP address and Media Access Key.
TiVo Decode Manager simply says "Cannot connect".
Accessing via "hxxps:...IPaddress" or "hxxps:...IPaddress/nowplaying/index.html" opens a login window, but using "tivo" and my MAK does not work. It won't accept my login!
I tried forwarding all important ports (80, 8080, 443, 2190) thru my router, but that did not help (shouldn't be necessary anyway, because this is just on the LAN).
Why can I PING but nothing else works?!? Tearing my hair out...
Any suggestions?
