Can't access media on PC

I have a Tivo Series 2 DVR that I bought second hand for $6 in the box at a garage sale (I know im a fool for paying $12.95 for a sub with a series 2, but it works well for a TV in our extra bedroom that is only SD) any way, I have it connected wireless to our network. With the Tivo Desktop software my PC recognizes the Tivo and lets me download and play its content on the computer. But when I try accessing pictures or music from the tivo it won't work. I get an error stating that the tivo couldn't connect. Im guessing its a firewall issue with Windows. Im running windows 7 pro btw. Any idea whats wrong?

You need to open ports on your windows firewall:

UDP: 37, 123
TCP: 37, 80, 443, 5005, 5222, 5223, 7287, 7288, 8000, 8080-8089

If you're behind a router, you can disable the Windows firewall and see if that resolves your connectivity.

If you're trying to access pictures/music on your PC, make sure those folders are set up for sharing.
