I am running Windows XP SP2 and had TD 2.3a. It ran fine until two nights ago. When I started the desktop it would say it was loading and get about 66% done but never loaded. I rebooted and tried again but got the same problem. I did some searching and others had that issue but it had to do with antivirus. I do not have any active antivirus programs running and I still had the problem. I saw that there was a 2.5 version so I went head and installed it. Now TD comes up no problem but when I try to get programs off the Tivo unit it can't connect. I can ping Tivo from my computer no problem and from the Tivo unit it can see my computer and read previously saved shows. How do I fix this or debug the problem further?
