I got a new router and my Tivo premiere will not connect. Fails while negotiating. Spent hours on the phone with Tivo and the router manufacturer to no avail. Tivo said "your Tivo is broken". The Tivo works fine other than I cannot update the guide. Is there anyway to download the tivo guide to a USB and transfer manually?

Something to try is to set in network options, set the Global and DNS servers to the IP address of your new router.

No.

Fails while negotiation. Does that mean during a service connection? Does it connect to YouTube or other service? What model is your new router?

There's a network internet test under Networking. Does that pass?
-Clean router Pro. I set up static ip and opened all of the ports tivo reccommended. When I set router to relaxed filtering and turn off VPN blocking the DNS and TCP tests pass but fails to connect - Failed While Negotiating. N17 error.

just tried it and still errors. Do i keep subnet mask at 255.255.255.0?
Do you have connectivity to the internet with any other device connected to this router?
Have you tried watching a youtube video on the premiere?
Have you rebooted the router and the Tivo since making the last change?

I just watched a youtube video on the premiere now.
