The tv I watch my tivo from is broken. Can I hook the tivo up to another tv?

Ah, okay thanks. It does have HDMI. I unplugged the tivo from the broken tv and put it in the other tv but I don't see a tivo screen on there. I was gonna call a tivo tech in the morning.

Now the screen says no signal. I can't get the tivo screen back.

The TiVo might have gone into standby mode. (Are the TiVo box's front LEDs lit up?) Hit the "TiVo Guy" button on the top of the TiVo remote a few times to make sure the TiVo box is active.

Possibly a TiVo HDMI problem. If your TiVo and TV have old style analog (RCA) jacks and you have a analog cable it's worth a try. I have several TiVos with failed HDMI outputs.

Also try a different HDMI cable as they can go bad. Look at the HDMI input on the TV that you used and note the number. Then go to that one with the input button.

Oh, that makes sense about the cable because if I move or touch the tv or tivo, the picture is lost and I get snow and these cables haven't been changed since they were put in years ago like 10 years ago. I was gonna place this tv in the spot where the broken tv was, but didn't want to risk losing the picture.
