Can I cut the cable cord

I have a Roamio Pro with lifetime Tivo service. Currently, it has a cable card and I have HD cable. The bill is killing me. Can I really remove the cable card and drop cable, and still view my recordings? The answer may be in here, but I'm not all the technical to find them. Appreciate your help.

Your TiVo should allow viewing of all recorded programming, without a cable card or cable subscription.

Have you tried to reduce the bill? I recently dropped all sports channels and some HD channels. My bill dropped by $30 per month.

Just her calling to cancel service should trigger a response from the cable co's "subscriber retention" department.
Which could result in a lower bill.

Thanks, but we have about the least customer friendly service there is. They are the only thing available, and they know it!

Is there anything special I have to do other than pulling the card and cable?

Remove power first.
How much will your internet rise without the tv bundle?

BTW. the killing of sports is not on their rate card. I learned about it from a friend. They don't like my current plan anyway, but they are real good with cable cards. They should since they started using TiVo in 2019.
About the only things you can do with Roamio Pro, is watch the recorded shows, watch from streaming. You can only record from cable as this model is a cable only.
