Just bought a new tv, Element e2t4019. I have a Glo remote (it has seen better days, but it works to control the TiVo.) I cant get it to program to the new TV using 0011, 0335, or a bunch of other ones I found online. Is my remote possibly too old?

I tried the learning thing and that didn’t seem to do anything. Thanks!

Sometimes makes you wonder if all the money saved vs. a more popular brand name was truly worth it.

no luck I did the search for about 20 minutes and nothing. I also tried the insignia codes and all the codes in the thread linked above. Argh!

Try 0381. It's a Seiki code, which is another brand owned by the same Chinese based company that owns Element.

I used that code for my Tivo remote and an Insignia FireTV. It works for power, volume, and mute.

Is this cable company furnished TiVo remote? They use completely different tv code list then true TiVo remotes.
