If you're looking to watch something uplifting, heartwarming and positive during these troubled times you could do worse than Call the Midwife. Description per IMDb: "Chronicles the lives of a group of midwives living in East London in the late-1950s to mid-1960s." It can be a bit sappy at times and the last few seasons the writing has not been up to the quality of the first few, but it's still well-acted and you will care about the various characters. For me it's still a favorite that I look forward to each year.

Season 9 is currently airing on PBS. Previous seasons on Netflix.

I especially liked the early seasons, time period directly after the war ended. But always heart-warming.

Thanks for the reminder. I haven't been catching it on PBS lately. I should look at my local streaming and watch. I'm caught up until the current season.
