The cable tech just left. After an hour, both cards initialized and everything seems ok. No problems with pixelation, but only up and running for about 10 minutes. Will keep you all posted.
The key is to have them do 1 card at a time. My installer was very patient and took his time. He spent about 40 minutes on the phone with the main office, but they got it all running.
Update
Ok, I have played around with the unit for a sufficient amount of time to determine the following:
There is occasional (very infrequent) pixelation on channels. Not bothersome really, but should be rectified.
Occasionally, the picture will freeze for a second, then resume. Again not frequent.
For those who care - my cable company used NDS cards.
Overall, very livable until they improve the software.
Update as of 8/7
The picture freezing seems to have diminished.
