I just moved to a new address that is served by Spectrum TV. They claimed to have cable cards available (it appears on their rate sheet along with a tuning adapter). I ordered one nearly two months ago. The tuning adapter arrived right away, but I still don't have a cable card. This morning, they told me that they are no longer shipping cable cards because they are obsolete.

Is there anyway that I can still use my TiVo Roamio? I have a lot of old movies and shows recorded that I would still like to watch.

I doubt that I'm the only person with this problem, so any helpful threads or FAQs would be appreciated.

If the tivo account is in good standing anything that is on the dvr should play fine. Tivo will not be able to record anything new.
You might see nag screens saying that the cable card is missing. But that should not affect the playback function of the tivo unit.

Do you have a Spectrum store nearby? Try there. Also, call Spectrum again. You might get ahold of someone who can help.

I've been working on this since Dec 29. I've been to the Spectrum store three times, Chat support three times, and four phone calls. Today's phone call was with a tech support supervisor who said that cable cards are no longer being stocked. I'm going to try another store before I give up. Thanks!

I can't get the TiVo box to boot up. I have the Roamio hooked up to the ethernet (RJ45 port) that shows a good connection (LEDs are green) and I have my TV on the HDMI connection. When I power up the Roamio box, I get the "TiVo Starting Up" screen for a few minutes, then the TV display shows "No Signal". No further response.

Now that I know this should work, I'll start researching the troubleshooting threads.
Thanks for the info!
