Cable Card Issues

Owner of a Tivo HD had it about 5 days very nice I must say. My biggest issue is the morons at Comcast can figure out how to configure a cable card.All channels work expect my HBO.... So we will see where it goes there is an appointment set for sunday hopefully they can get it right

You definitely don't need an appointment to get that straightened out.

Lots of useful information in the Comcast CableCARD thread cited above.
Even if you call to have the cards paired, it doesn't mean the person on the other end does so correctly... This is a nation wide problem with cable companies not knowing what they are doing, or worse yet, intentionly not configuring a customers cards right...

Thanks! I am looking to find some answers so I can guide and point the cable company to look for to solve my problem

Read the CableCARD installation FAQ sticky and see if that helps.
