We are having big problems with the channel listing and channel changing. We have a new Series 2 Dual Tuner Tivo, Model # TCD649180 (our old Tivo same model, similar problems was exchanged for a different reason). We have Comcast Digital Premium. It's connected via a splitter to Tivo box directly and the Comcast box (Motorola). Some channels under 100 cause a problem. We cannot connect to some expanded cable service stations. Is there some combination of box and cable choices on the channel list that will make things work?

It's a little unclear just what problems you're having, especially where the "expanded cable service stations" are concerned.

You do understand that the Dual Tuner can only access ALL your channels on ONE of its tuners (the tuner connected to the cable box), and that as a result certain channels can NOT be recorded at the same time?

Right?

As for channel listings, again, you're not being clear on WHAT the problems are, so we're not in any position to help you.

PLEASE be more specific. We need more information.

As for the correct way to hook up your TiVo, from the sounds of things you did it right.

Cable goes to splitter, one lead goes directly to the Tivo, the other to the cable box. The cable box in turn feeds the TiVo's other tuner thru the audio/video inputs.
