I am so glad katherine is back she is so damn funny. I liked this episode a lot after a slow start the show has gottten much better lately. The only thing I missing was denny and alan together causing trouble. I can totally see alan and bev teaming up to drive shirly, paul and brad crazy. I also got a kick out of alan's cross with all the information he got off the internet.

Another solid episode.

This show never disappoints.

I don't recall any great sound bytes in this one though (well, "I've hardly seen you this episode" qualifies I suppose.)

Still very enjoyable.

Also, I had the thought that if anyone every really won a case big like the one Alan was trying (suing a company for having too much information available on the Internet) the fallout of thousands of similar suits clogging the courts (people blaming the Internet, in effect, for all their troubles) would be massive, and damaging to the justice system!

So, it's a good thing that it got me thinking about that. The show entertains and makes the viewer think! :)

Keep them coming like the past several episodes, Mr. Kelly! You've got the show back on track and it's a down right pleasure to view once again! Stop scaring us with those silly episodes about axes and fingers a'flying! :)

I enjoy Betty White's character a lot, but how many times is she going to keep getting off the hook? I thought for sure this was the episode to bring her back to either kill her off or throw her into the slammer. Guess that makes for a sweeps month! :)

Although anyone who throws a wrench into the firm's plans other than Alan and Denny Crane, I'm thinking the future Mrs. Crane is growing old very quickly. No way in sucha large firm she'd be running loose. Especially if the partners are growing weary of her.

Looking forward to more clashes with the cutie DA who Alan may or may not have gotten a job with Crane, Poole and Schmidt... as well as the possible Latino love interest of Alan...

Wrong on just about every point. They were not suing because a company simply had too much information on the internet. It was because the company made highly personal, and legally protected information, easy to access. Moreover, it is ludicrous to say they were "blaming the internet." Finally, such lawsuits are filed in the court system every day, in addition to lawsuits against drug companies, tobacco companies, produc manufacturers, and so on and so on. They seem to handle it relatively well.

Man, I almost had to pause on the "haven't seen you much this episode" line! The "happy ending" line was funny, too. Love the new Latina!
My mind is fast forwarding about things that the Latina will do. Will the firm get rid of Denny's girlfriend only to have Alan's future girlfriend bring the firm down? Stay tuned........... :D

In the poetry-slam track, "I Can't Get Behind That" of Shatner's CD "Has Been", one of the rants is about how there's data about people all over the internet, and the line ends with "That's too much information!" just like the title and plot of this episode.

That can't be a coincidence.

Actually, If I recall correctly...

In thehe "next on Boston Legal" promo, it showed the DA prosecuting the Latina (I think) for staging a protest (nude) with a bunch of other women. While talking to Alan, she says "this has nothing to do with me not getting the job at Crane, Poole, and Schmitt."

EDIT: Found the tag for spoilers. Thanks.

Instead of surrounding your spoilers with big bold spoiler warnings, you should surround them with spoiler tags, like this:

{spoiler}This is a spoiler{/spoiler}

(only use ['s instead of {'s)

Which gives you this:

This is a spoiler

I hate the way our society is so bent on suing everyone, and this episode showed that exact mentality. It was not about suing the HMO, it was about getting back at the father (as the daughter even slipped up and said). The FATHER is the one to blame. The mother that was killed should have realized that she didn't want her information posted on the Internet, if I was in her position I surely wouldn't. Again, it is not the HMO's fault that the father killed the mother, it is the FATHER's fault 100%.

I was in the plaintiff's court on this until I realized that the information was secured behind what is considered reasonable security measures in our society: It is unreasonable to expect that we should have access to our information, but others, who have access to our security credentials, would not have such access.
