Wow! What a season. Never slowed down, and even picked up steam the last few episodes. Don't f*ck with the BOSS!

random hail of bullets:

* Stoney

. Say it ain't so. He was my favorite character.

* Kitty--she quit. Will she be back? My other favorite character.

* Meredith--I guess she had to take one for the team. When you need to get back in the Boss's good graces, that's one way. Shame they cut that scene. {insert DOM smiley}

* We didn't see much of Zajac's wife until the last two eps, but she is a force to be reckoned with.

* Zajac--what a wussy.

* What was the point of beating up the caretaker? Just to teach her a lesson?

It was so final I was thinking that they couldn't do another season until they had the "Boss Season 2 in production for 2012" slide. I guess that tells us that Kane wasn't dying.

Who was the hired gun guy, the Chicago machine "Mike," getting his orders from? I assumed it was from Stoney doing the dirty work, but them either Stoney told him to take out Stoney or Mare Kane did. Being that Stoney was packing, it looks like he was high-tailing it. I guess the final sit down between Kane and Stoney was in Kane's delusional mind?

She was within a breath of spilling to Sam Miller. Dr. Ella is spilling.

Gonna be some badddddd stories about Kane in the Sentinel. I was wondering why they kept "Mike" off of Same Miller. Maybe now they won't.

Now Kane has to find new minions entirely. That's not going to be easy.

She really was upset from whoring herself out? I refuse to believe that was the first time.

I thought Kane had an apartment he really lived in. Was that her Dad's place?

We're supposed to think she didn't do anything? Stoney did it, unless she helped him get to the files. If she was innocent that Stoney wanted to take her out just as cover. They did ask Kane if he wanted her "found."

It was in his mind (IMO). That's why at the end they cut to Kane sitting in the room alone. To show you that he thought he had this conversation, and that's why he sent the hitman after him, to "clean up" the loose ends. He knew way too much about his evil doings to escape.

The producers probably wrote the ending so they could go either way if it got picked up or not.

I'm wondering if Season 2 is going to be centered on Kane's re-election campaign (who they will find to challenge him, tho)

Tough to say, going after newspaper/reporters isn't necessarily a net win. But there are other ways to "Get" the Sentinel that don't involve murder

Well "Phone Monkey" has an inside track. I think Kitty might end up on Zajac's Gubernatorial staff in Springfield, the question is whether she will go farther by blackmailing him with her pregnancy or not doing so. And/or whether she'll be a "mole" for Kane.

Maybe it was the first time she did it at Tom's "request".

I think that was their "official residence", Kane spent a couple of nights there in previous episodes

Very complex! I had to watch twice and STILL come here for some clarity.

This is the first time I've watched Kelsey G in a dramatic role. He is amazing.

Nine months? gadzooks! Will look forward to S02 and kind of hoping to catch a full re-airing of S01 next year some time. My aging brain cannot remember that much anymore.

Just watched the finale. Wow.

Although a little over the top sometimes, I love this show. It's my second favorite new show of the season. Topped only by Showtime's "Homeland".

I had no idea Kelsey had it in him to play such a role. I say give him the best Actor Emmy. Actress should go to Claire Danes.

I've read that the ratings for this show are pretty much abysmal, although critics seemed to like it, for the most part. 'tis a shame.

I finally got around to start watching this series yesterday and I've just finished it. Really great show!! The second to last episode was especially amazing. This finale was great too.

I've seen various mentions of Kitty and how attractive she is. I'm throwing my vote behind that as well.

They are showing season one in two hour lumps starting Monday, Aug 13. Each evening of the week 7pm to 9pm on the East Coast feed I believe of StarzHD (so it might be 10pm to midnight on the actual East Coast) there will be a two hour airing. (i.e. Aug 13, ep 1 & 2, Aug 14 ep 3 & 4, etc).
