I have a Bolt with lifetime in my living room that just started rebooting when watching certain recorded programs. Some recordings work fine. We also have a Tivo XL that i use in my HT to access recordings on the Bolt. The programs that were rebooting on the bolt, can be accessed through the XL and watched with no problem.
Any idea what could be wrong with the bolt?

If it's being caused by the pre-roll ads, call and ask TiVo to disable them for you since they are causing reboots.

On Friday our family room Bolt started resetting when attempting to watch any new recording. I guess I need to make the call too.

We've had 3 generations of Tivo's, got two Bolts and two Premieres attached to our home's network, but of late the experience just isn't working. Since the buy out Tivo sure is trying to lose their customer base with their shoddy software updates. I'm about 90% ready to call FIOS up and order their DVR's since the wife is all over me about why we haven't switched yet. Fix the software before releasing it or stop trying to screw around with ads. If you need more money out of us lifetime service users, just ask for it nicely and end the stunts. End of rant.
