Does a white original bolt work with a black tivo. Obviously the voice control won't work but I don't care about that.
Also, is it possible to use Netflix on a bolt that doesn't have a cable card?

As long as the unit has service all streaming services should work. To avoid cable card nag messages, run Guided Setup and indicate "Install later". The remote should work, but I don't have a Bolt.

The RF remotes are all cross compatible, you'll just have to re-pair it by clearing the remote and using IR mode to navigate to the Remote Pairing option.
