What a lot of weeping and wailing over Natalie! I understand she's still heavy and has a lot more to lose, but sheesh!!!

And really, of all the people there she's the only one that has proved that she can lose weight on her own at home. While I would have preferred green girl (whatshername... the one that wanted to go home a few episodes ago) to get eliminated, I have no problem with sending Natalie packing.

BTW, I've noticed that in about half of Natalie's interviews she wears no mascara and in the other half she wears enough makeup to paint a small village. :p I much prefer the former.

Was everyone that shocked that Brett was 'eliminated'? The looks on Jillian and Bob's faces...

I felt bad that she didn't lose enough to stay, however, her name is Courtney. :)

At least she had a very positive outlook and she knew she could do it at home, too. I think they all get so emotional because they're in such a small bubble on the ranch and then the bubble bursts when someone they're close to has to go home.

I'm surprised both Irene and Kaylee did enough to stay. They're both getting so small and Kaylee wanted to quit so badly 2 weeks ago.

Irene is really short, though, so she's still got more to go than Kaylee, Olivia, and Hannah.

I also could not believe how drawn out that whole goodbye was. I misjudged my timing and I caught up to live just as they showed Courtney's weight, so I had to suffer through that whole thing live! :(
Never have to hear the word "journey" ever again on this show.
I hoped that Courtney could have pulled it out. Like she said she lost 5, then 4, 3, 2, and now only 1. I wonder what it is that happened to cause her to hit such a plateau? I can see where this would be really frustrating if she had a personal trainer all week and they couldn't figure out why she stopped losing weight.

She's a year ahead of the rest of them so I'd be surprised if she didn't plateau. I am surprised that it lasted this long.

At the start of the episode when Brett sat down with her to talk he said they were going to increase her calories for the week because her body was now going to start eating muscle because it thought it was starving. That possibly was her downfall. When he said that I knew she was going home.
That Olympic wrestler guy is gonna blowup within a year. And how many of you are shocked he has a hot wife?!

Well was pretty well known and probably capitalized on fame monetarily, not shocked his second wife is hot. But that one picture of him with her, he looked like Jabba the Hut.
To me it seems like Rulon just isn't learning anything. He's there for the free workouts and personal training. If he thinks that he learned he should eat just one cheeseburger instead of several in a sitting, he's just doing it wrong. There's no way he keeps off the weight.

I was thinking that too. If he pigs out on junk food to reward himself for a hard workout with camera's filming him in his room, then I can see him rewarding himself with no pressure at home big time for the months of hard work at the ranch.

I doubt they would have sent Bob or Jillian home if their team were all gone. I was somewhat hoping Cara would be the first one out.

I could have done without the guy in the restaurant who must have lost a dare to hit on Hannah in front of the cameras.

I think this was the worst episode ever for me. I'm not sure if this is just the worst season, or I'm getting bored with the whole thing, but I feel less invested in the contestants than I ever have.

Rulon just pi$$es me off. And Jillian is going to go ahead and get him the crap food and teach him how to eat it in moderation?? Seriously? Maybe if he had gotten himself to where he needs to be, but not in the middle when he still weighs 3-400 (sorry, don't know how much but I know he still weighs WAY too much). That was just plain weird. Not to mention that he needs to learn that eating crap is NOT the way to reward oneself when he is morbidly obese. And yeah, he and his wife look like a Disney story.

This show is really losing credibility for me. It used to be inspiring to watch people lose tons of weight heathily and work so hard at it, when I can't seem to motivate myself to get 15-20 extra pounds off. It has become a caricature of itself, IMNSHO.

I actually agree with Jillian that abstinence isn't always the way. It works for some people not others. For me, if I want something I have to earn it. Drink three beers over the weekend. Extra long workout.

Some people can give up certain foods, I prefer not to.

I know Barryb has some trigger foods that he just can't have around.
BTW, for the others in the crowd ( you know who you are ) who like Ali Sweeney, you need to see this picture.

Yumm (yes, sexist but we like what we like)

I told my SO that I bet the show paid him to go do that. :)

I think that he weighed in last night at 315? Or maybe that was his weight from last week... anyway he said in a camera interview that he's within 35 lbs of his wrestling weight now when he won the gold medal. Obviously, judging by pictures, he was not exactly thin then, but I think he's a pretty big boned, muscular guy. He's not going to get as low as some other guys on the show have.

I got a really creepy vibe from that entire scene.
I pondered the fact that they all say how close they've gotten with each other, found a new sister, etc. all those things they say, and they're in Hollywood and the two guys decide to leave Hannah alone with this stranger because he's been eyeing her.

Yes, they probably weren't far away, and yes, there were camera and production people all around, but how is 'we'll leave you alone with this total stranger' a good thing?

I'm sure he was an actor and it was all staged (maybe without Hannah's knowledge?).
Does anyone else think Courtney and Austin have something going on? My wife has thought this from early on.
