Wow, what an amazing series of events to bring, if only for one moment, happiness to the family.

I can't wait for next season. And I'm severely disappointed this is the end of an awesome too-short second season.

so why does roman need to agree to weaver? i'm sure when he got back he'd be the king again regardless so i dont see the need for that deal at that time. Why not fight bill for it?

of course having your dad arrested is pretty uncool. I guess he really is a power hungry thing.

if anything, why wouldnt roman tell the cops about the attempted murder now?

boy that council is like a herd, apparently easily swayed at the drop of a hat
great show, and i agree the season was too short :)

anyone know when season 3 kicks off?
fav line "it's not our business who our husband dates"
Nikki just can not keep her mouth shut.

What exactly did Roman get arrested for? Of course Albie makes a better villain than Roman... I just hope they bring back his homosexual tendencias next season. And the Greens we need more of them they were an awesome group.
Great season, they really gave us a lot to chew on for this final ep and speculation for the next season (what were the wives whispering? What will happen to Roman? etc..)

I will say that I am not going to miss two phrases that have become a "Hi Bob" moment for the show: "Weaver Gaming" and "The UEB" :D
BTW, it's Weber Gaming. Not Weaver. :)

I stand corrected. I always heard them pronounce it Weaver, like Beaver.

Weber, like a Weber Grill, I always thought was pronounced like Better.

Sounds like a poll in the making (I won't) but I've always heard people say "web er grill"

I think it's like Goldstein and other names ending in "stein" -- it's been Americanized and some people say "Steen" while others say "Styne". Different families have different pronunciations. While in Germany there would be a clearly correct pronunciation, that is not the case here.

As for the show, I was confused by the scene in the first half with two people (a man and a woman) in a bedroom. The dialogue was like we've come this far, we can't stop now and then they were making out. Who were they? I couldn't really tell -- it seemed like Albie and Nikki, but that was so weird and creepy I decided it couldn't be true. I rewound a couple times and still am confused.

So what was going on in Sarah's mind here? She is all wanting Ben to join the church and be pious, and then she sleeps with her BF? Seems like she is moving in two opposite directions, I don't quite get it.

What happened to Rhonda? Seems like they kind of dropped that storyline.

Little surprized by Barb's sudden turnaround. Didn't quite ring true to me . . . .

Yea, I sorta agree there, but I think the intent was that Barb was "taking control" of the family after having gotten some advice from Nikki's mom. And that also explains why Barb told Bill she is THE wife -- the one that always comes first, etc.

And really, considering all that' was going on with the neighbor and with her public outing of sorts over the award ceremony, and what happened at her mother's wedding, any other course of action would only have delayed the inevitable, so she took control of the situation rather than letting it continue to be in control of her.
i guess with the neighbor across the street knowing, there go all the house values. She sure is gonna make trouble next year. (a - la the Riches neighbor)

That was Albie and his wife, the nurse who was the co-conspirator with him in poisoning/drugging out Roman.

She had a change of heart at the end of the episode, where her boyfriend finally convinced her to drop religion entirely. Prior to that, she had thought the LDS would be a good way for Ben to change his mind about polygamy.

Nicki's mother told her that being closeted deprives Barb of her power, and Barb bought it. I didn't quite get why.
So who actually arrested Roman? Was it the Juniper Creek police or the Staties?

I liked how the show ended - Bill thinking everything was finally okay, but not knowing Roman just got arrested and Albie is waiting in the wings...

I'm pretty sure it was a state police cruiser we saw at the end.

If they're arresting people for violations of the Mann Act, I'd expect it to be the feds. Certainly not the Juniper Creek police.
Why would they allow state troopers/Feds on Juniper Creek property? I would think that's just asking for trouble given they're a polygamist sect and all...

Maybe Albie made a deal - leave us alone, we'll give you a child molester?

tit for tat

bill called atf on them, now his turn to use the powers that be

plus shows how determined he is and that he is in the same league as bill

heads will clash for sure next year but thing is, they solve things too quickly on this show sometimes.

interesting to know how the 6th wife became the primary wife...i didnt know that before
