I was hoping it would go this way. I thought for a second that it'd be a closer vote. But Mike did one of the dumbest moves in BB history. This guy, as big of a threat as he is, was pretty much flying under the radar. It wasn't until he was put up that everyone's light buld lit up. Glad they smartened up.

Eric did his damndest though. BTW, did he come out of the closet tonight?

As far as Dustin goes, no telling who he'd put up. Although I feel Zach is in his sights.

I thought Eric might pull the turn around off.

A little disappointed in him BLATANTLY throwing the HOH position. He got to the final three and realized he could accidentally win so he tanked it.

I want him as HOH so we can make him put people up.

I was surprised Eric didn't have more power in swaying the votes. Maybe he just didn't try too hard. I did like the way he threw the HOH though. He eliminated the people that he wouldn't want to win so he could take himself out accidentally and somewhat believably since he buzzed too early to know what the question was. Now who should Dustin nominate?

Dick and his flatulence issues was one of the funniest things I think I've seen on TV. We laughed until we cried!
Bahahahahaha... YES!!! First the noises, and the LOOK on poor Jameka's face (at least she finally got some camera time between that and Julie's "how do you feel about being ignored" question) and then what really made me lose it was the spray can action - and then closing the door to let the spray work its magic.

I thought it was funny how they went from asking Jen who she thought did the mustard prank to... "ERIC....." and he looked all scared for a moment like he was going to be ratted out by Julie.

Also enjoyed he flash of guilt on Eric's face while Dick was accusing Jen of being the 2nd vote to evict Kail.

I felt Eric throwing the competition was very obvious.

Dustin is a get HoH and will probably put up Kail and Jen again with Zach being in if one of them wins POV.

Thoughts before reading thread notes:

1) I couldn't believe they showed all that Nick/Dani stuff and her bf talking - it was so sad...
and the kissing!! Hmmm. Did they kiss? Who's playing who, in this one?

2) Mike's speech was great - so sad not everyone went with him. I really felt bad for him that it turned out like this. But, do you really hang on like that to a sinking ship? I understood his point, but just don't think that was the way to prove himself...

3) I feel bad for Eric that we're not really letting him play. It seems he'd be such a good player if given the chance. Oh well - I'm sure they didn't 'force' him to take this position, right? But, I did wonder why he didn't get to vote out Kail? His task was to get Kail evicted to get the money, right? So, when he knew that wasn't happening, why wouldn't he switch his vote so as not to mess up his future link to everyone else?

4) Nick looked soo not right. Not right at all with his hair all slicked back like that...

5) Loved Dustin in the moustache! :) This should be a fun week.

Dustin had said during the week he would likely put Zach up for sure if he got HOH.
Zach will likely be the target, but Eric really showed a big hand there tonight. He made it very clear that A) he was throwing the competition and B) He felt safe with Jameka, Dustin and I believe Dannielle (I forget who he removed when he accidentally got his 1st attempt to guess wrong right.) Add that on top of him being one of the only two to vote for Kail to go home, (when he was expected to vote out Mike) and I'm thinking he has a lot of baggage for people to pick up on. It's a concern for "America's Player."

Oh My Gosh!! I agree!! That was the most hysterical part! :D

I also thought it was too obvious - and he sure doesn't have much of a poker face, does he? The above notes - and when he was in the HoH room and thought his talk about Kail was working, he had an ear to ear grin.

It doesn't appear that Eric even has the opportunity to vote against America. This was the perfect case of him thinking "I am not go to succeed in this challenge, so I don't want to damage my standing in the house."

I actually think this vote could come back to haunt him. If it discovered that he voted for Kail, then he would no longer be trusted. As far as him throwing the HOH comp, I don't see that as a big deal. Most houseguests still don't want HOH, he can easily cover that.

As an aside, although what Mike did at the POV competition was stupid, I was so glad to see someone in the house stand up to Dick for a chance. His head was too big for his own good. Here's hoping that maybe Amber can convince Dustin to put Dick on the block! (I can dream can't I?)

Can we vote for Eric to try and get Dick nominated?

Marcellus -- I mean Mike, you are the next person voted out of the Big Brother house.

***AWKWARD***

I was actually hoping they'd change their minds and really vote out Kail. If Eric would have sold his idea by saying that if they leave her in the house, she'll be targeting over half of them for eviction. Dick first and foremost...and knowing that Dick can't participate in the HoH this week, Kail should've been the person he wanted to get out. If either Kail or Jen won HOH Dick would be right up on the block. I think with Kail out, Jen is less of a threat and so is the rest of whatever was left of her so-called alliance.

Dustin won't nominated Kail. Wasn't he the one that said he could play Kail like putty in his hands or something???

And Eric almost winning HOH. For a minute I was thinking, man CBS must've told him to go for HOH knowing that it would be a great oppurtunity for America. My hubby even thought maybe CBS had went so far as giving him the answers. But he obviously threw the competition. Although I didn't get what was up with it taking a while for someone to eliminate Kail.

I am still wondering what was his point? At the time he made his foolish stand, Kail was already out of the comp. What was he trying to accomplish?

Loyalty. He wanted people to see that he could be loyal to anyone he was alligned with...in hopes that people would vote to keep Loyal Mike over Scheming Kail.

The thing is that there are a couple of other people in the house that Eric could easily pin his vote on, like Jen and Nick. I am not sure if the house really believes Nick that he is done withe Zach and Nick. And Jen is such a mess, who would really believe her.

I think he thought that he was proving to everyone that he's loyal to the end. Period. Kail asked him to go out there and try to mess up Dick - and he said "Yes, Ma'am!" What was obvious to the rest of us, but apparently not to those two, was that then Jen wins and she's surely not going to take Kail off the block. They didn't think it the rest of the way through. And, when Dick said he'd then put up Mike, it was too late for Mike to back down... All around bad plan on that one.

That's what he said and that's what I don't get. How was that loyal to anyone other then Jen? Kail was already out of the comp. Or did I miss something?
