Wow…. They did it…. Yes, the result is a very predictable double eviction…. However, it is quite a feat for any early formed alliance to make it this far with every single member to make it to the end intact, and without fracturing…. And the other houseguests are still unaware of the existence of the alliance…

I was hoping that Alyssa would win POV to force the CO to eat one of their own…

No matter…that happens next week! And a double eviction to boot!

I got to give the CO credit. They accomplished something that very few alliances can do. Most alliances end up fracturing after a short time as people continue to look out for their own interests over the group. But not the CO. Even Tiff stepped up and sacrificed Claire when she had to. I also pretty sure X threw the HOH comp making it so that Alyssa would have to go on the block (and not by his hands.) It was funny to see Alyssa think that X was ever a target. That shows how good the CO was in hiding in plain site. I liked how Alyssa was very clear she would not have brought X to the F2, she isn't stupid.

Yes, it has been boring from a viewer standpoint, but this season has been good for its strategy. Now, if X, Tiff, or Ky wins, we will have one of the best winners in BB history (OTOH Hannah, Azah, and Big D have, for the most part, just coasted with an alliance.) What I am most interested in is what will the first CO members sent to the Jury house tell the rest of the jury. Will they come clean? Now the fun begins. I think we are now going to see men versus women with X and Tiff being the leaders.

Though, for at least the last two BB season the large alliance ruled the house from almost day one. In this case, the desire to have the first AA winner trumped everything else and that's why they were able to stay together. Tiff pretty much admitted this to Claire when she told her she had to go. What amazes me (and maybe my generation tends to look at things differently), that one of the non AA houseguests didn't even consider that they would stick together and that plays into the great strategy of bringing in the non AA houseguests into the alliance to serve as protection. That was great strategy. Was it Tiff or X who came up with that? It was genius. I do think Baby D was starting to figure it out when he was booted, and Alyssa seemed to notice (too late) that the 7 including her were all non-white. I'm sure at that point she also realized that she was next. It was well played all around.

To me X or Tiff deserve to win the game, though I don't like TIff and won't root for her. My fear is that neither will, because they will be targets. And as I said last week, don't discount the game that Big D is playing. He knows he can't win challenges (though the HoH one was definitely something he COULD have won), so he's playing the eveyone's best friend game. To me, it's his strategy and the only way he can win. BB invited him to the game knowing he's not going to win any kind of challenge that requires physicality, nimbleness or dexterity, Even something like putting puzzles together and running back and forth probably winds him. So he is everyone's friend and as long as he admits this was his strategy, I give him a chance to win. Aza and Hannah on the other hand have done little to nothing this whole game. If either of those two win, it's a joke.

I thought it was Tiff who came up with the out-of-alliance partners. When she started that I thought sure it would be the bomb that blew the alliance up. I never thought they would turn on their closest friends when push came to shove. Props to all of them. Best alliance ever, even if they kill each other from here on..... ;)

If X hadn't been on the block, I wonder if he would have taken Alyssa off the block when he won that POV.

I missed them showing footage from the jury house this week; I hope they show a lot of it next week since they have a two hour episode. I think I have a crush on Baby D.

And another Double Eviction next week...and a two-hour episode...

This should be interesting since the CO are now forced to turn on themselves...
I can see them filling a 1 hour episode with a double eviction but 2? They seem to be in the "we don't have enough material" mode already.

Actually, I don't know if they have a lot of time... I think they are slowly getting rid of stuff that I used to like to see because their plate is getting more and more full...

I know it's silly...but I used to like the big wheel with each person being declared "safe" by the HoH (and the groveling and *ss kissing that ensued)... I kind of liked the weekly "who wants to see my HoH room" and some of the diary sessions of the salty houseguests... I liked seeing the have-not details, and what they were eating (in addition to the slop)... I liked the exit interviews from the houseguests, which are now pushed off to Instagram and Paramount+.

I think they have jettisoned a lot of my favorite content because they don't have enough time to fit it in anymore...

Oh that stuff I agree with. I loved the big wheel, and how that was strategically used to make certain HG feel uncomfortable, but, with only 6 left, how much content will they have to fill 2 hours? Even last week (I think it was the veto episode) they filled about 3-4 minutes on something really silly that happened in the house. I don't even remember what it was. I guess they are counting on a lot of infighting in the house in the CO.

Speaking of Diary Room sessions, I don't like Tiffany just randomly talking to the camera instead of the diary room. She just seems very egotistical.
I like it. Former HGs have done it in the past. Often to make sure the audience knows they have a plan or aren't buying what someone else is saying. The diary room session are so scripted now anyway.

Maybe not the best place to put it, but the BB watchers are here. They just announced Celebrity Big Brother is returning this winter.
I'll pass, like I did the first two. Another outlet for C and D level celebrities to act like fools in front of the camera. I guess that appeals to the gossip lovers, but not me. I did the same with The Apprentice (Yeah, I admit I watched that). As soon as they went to the celebrity version, I quit.

Not exactly related to this episode, but this is about where I'm up to..

Why does Big D (I actually remember someone's name/nickname) usually say "I evict to vote", seemingly on purpose?
I think he actually DIDN'T do it this episode, but he did it on multiple previous episodes..

(The cheering about everybody being of a certain racial background is annoying.. because it would be widely condemned under other circumstances.. so is hypocritical.)
