Well that was interesting, but in the end, I knew Christmas wasn't going to save either of them and that Tyler would retract. Tyler seemed drunk to me when he went to B and D to "confess".

And I will take back a little of what I said in the last thread. I think with Christmas, there are some racial overtones in her nomination and her not wanting to change her nominations. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's just something about Christmas i don't like and I wouldn't put it past her to do something like that. When one of the nominees (don't remember which) asked her to reveal her own ride or die, she was very smug in her NO!.

Well, she would be stupid to reveal it voluntarily (like Beyliegh). But she was also smug because beyliegh said she wanted tylers head on a platter, and that's her ride or die. So, I think it all worked out like it should.
And I think Christmas was very upset after she nominated them so I do n't think it was anything to do with race.
The ones that beyligh and davonne thought she should nominate are ones that she's aligned to and they don't know it. Should have been a clue.

Personally I'd rather see Davonne go but I don't really care at this point which one does.

I've lost all respect for Christmas. Now that she is HoH and has all the power, her true self has emerged. Any time someone tries to have a rational conversation with her, there is a certain smugness that just oozes out of her. It's very off-putting.

I wasn't a big fan of Da'Vonne in her previous seasons, but I actually like her this season. She seems to have calmed down and appears to be much more affable.
She's definitely playing down here "Mama Day" persona. And not as in your face as in last seasons.

This was a really messy episode.

Day seemed to hurt their chances by telling Christmas that Bay was so against Tyler. I think she felt like it would help put Christmas at ease that Bay wouldn't retaliate for the initial nominations but it instead seemed to lock her in that Bay was so mad at Tyler and couldn't be trusted.

Yeah, based on the edit we saw, it would appear that Da'Vonne inadvertently sealed their fate. If she had told Christmas that Tyler had smoothed things over and that her and Bay were no longer upset with either of them, there would have been a much better chance of Christmas using the veto.

Again, this is all based on the edit that we saw. I have a sneaking suspicion that production got involved and convinced Tyler to change his mind.
