I don’t understand why Keisha had to wear a mask... Seems like it’s just for show... The houseguests have got to be the safest group of people on the planet. They’ve been each individually quarantined before the game, and all isolated together in the BB house. Masks generally protect others from you, right? If so, wouldn’t it make more sense for Julie to be masked instead of (or certainly in addition to) Keisha? I would think Julie has more risky exposure on the outside of the BB house than any of the houseguests...

While I haven't watched last night's episode, I thought the same thing about masks on premier night. The mask thing is just to create pandemic drama. Unless they believe the mask is protecting the houseguest as she comes out from Julie and the crew, there's no reason that I can think of for the mask. Supposedly Julie and the crew are all in bubbles as well, so I thought I read. And the mask is to protect you from infecting others more than you from someone else. Again, it appears to be more for drama or to make the point "Only inside the house is safe."

I agree with your thoughts and the masks. She's very far from Julie and any crew anyways, and you know she doesn't have the virus, so she'd only be vulnerable from others. I think they could get through the interview without a mask from 12+ feet away from Julie before they make her put one on. Maybe they're just trying to play up the masks bit just to make sure the viewers know they are being safe?

Was this episode Live? In almost all ways it felt live, but normally Julie says things like "in a moment, the houseguest will cast their votes, LIVE" and "in our LIVE HOH competition", etc. Not once did I hear her say "live" so I wonder if it really was or if it was prerecorded?

But in game terms, looks like a lot of small alliances are forming but as of yet nothing big that seems like it's going to stick and be a solid powerhouse. I think it's definitely more interesting having a lot of smaller alliances.

Memphis as HoH should be fine but at this point don't really see who might be targets unless it goes back to Kaysar and Janelle this week.

They should have both been wearing masks. As for their safety, I don't know how much they interact with crew during the week, so maybe there is some danger there. Are the crew being sequestered? I don't know as I don't follow it as closely as some. But I also wonder if masks being worn is kind of a PSA for the audience watching. See? We wear masks, you should too. If it's that, it's really not a bad thing. But yes, Julie, if she had outside contact, should be wearing a mask as well.

Obviously, anything can happen between now and nominations, but I would think Kaysar and Janelle would be the obvious choices since neither of them has a Safety Suite pass.

I'm guessing the players don't interact with anyone from the outside world at all, other than possibly to get tested. Production is being super careful to keep them isolated in their little bubble. The last thing they want is for the whole season to be derailed.

In short, yes they are. There are different colored crews that are only allowed to be in sections marked for that color only so they don't interact with other crews. These crews are living in basically RVs at the set. They work for a month, then a different group moves in.

They get 2 weeks off in the outside world, then they are back and sequester for 2 weeks. Then they work for another month again.

So there's a rotation of crew that are all completely in the bubble. The only one I don't know about is Julie. If she is living there or if she actually is allowed to be outside the bubble.

The house really doesn't have any large alliances yet. Lots of little one, lots of budding ones, but nothing concrete. So I think you'll get a week or two more of these until things start to develop.

Disappointed in the Memphis win as I agree with @MikeekiM that it seems like a repeat. On the other hand, looking forward to learning a bit more about him as I didn't see all of the original season he was on with Dan.

I noted to my wife that I don't think Memphis was even in Wednesday's episode at all. I agree it could basically be like Cody HoH 2, but this could potentially start some shift of the rest of the house wanting to get these big guys out.
