You don't need special effects to make it look crappy be comparison. While it's not a show that BEGS for HD, it's harder to watch when EVERY other show you watch is HD. I have become an HD snob by now. I can't stand watching non-HD. It's one reason I don't watch the AMC shows that are kind of popular. DirecTV doesn't have AMC in HD (although I did try Mad Men and found it kind of boring). I think at least put HD in the living room and outside, and it's fine to keep the bedrooms, bathrooms and diary rooms SD (just make them wide screen).There's not a lot of special effects, other than Rachel's twins. So being in non-HD certainly isn't excrutiating.
Me either, I thought it looked fine.Honestly, as much of an HD snob as I am, too, this show in SD doesn't bother me.
