It's nice to see Raj getting some. Last time we saw that was with a rather large woman he met in the bar (Penny didn't count).

A major inconsistency with Sheldon's character: I think he would have some qualms about giving our privileged info about Raj family wealth. But maybe the dice have released him from all ethical dilemma.

I love Howard's analogy: "She doesn't care who gets my motor running, just as long as I parked my car in her garage at the end of the day."

The deaf girl already had a car at the end of the first date, but Raj leased her another car?

I liked Penny's line: "heck, I could have dated Raj for a couple of months..."

Yes! That really jumped out at me.
I was surprised Howard and Bernadette's wedding plans were as far along as they are. Often times TV engagements last quite a long time. I wonder if the wedding will occur this season?

I hope Leonard's reference to his girlfriend in India and her conspicuous absence following that remark is a setup for their breakup. Maybe Pria's parents will threaten her financially like they threatened Raj's income stream. To this day I don't know what hot girls like Pria and Penny see in Leonard. It just seems so contrived. But, then again, this is TV, so anything can happen. Hell, if Leonard can score with those two, there's hope for all geeks in the world.

Loved the Dungeons and Dragons game play and quote - something like "Imagine that, you're in a dungeon, and there's a dragon there." :p

Good episode.

I know they're geniuses, but did it bother anyone else that Raj knew as much sign as he did in a month or two?

Maybe it's just me-I've attempted to learn sign several times, and it's not easy.

Was it even a month or two? It didn't even seem that long. And yes, it bothered me as well.
Well, at some point, they make a comment about them going out every evening that month.

...
I noticed that they made it a point to show enough of the car to see it's an old beater. An 80's Accord I think...
Looked like a Prius to me, but I really wasn't looking that closely. I'll go back and check it out tomorrow.
There was a throwaway comment that indicated it had been a significant period of time. I thought it was six weeks.

He was highly motivated! ;)

Happens all the time in "real life". Just yesterday I saw a very nice looking young lady with her young child and a husband -- a pudgy, very average-looking, etc., guy. I just shook my head... But my wife tells me that women are much less into looks than they are into personality, etc. I guess Leonard has a "cute" personality...

ANd maybe lots of "etc." ;)
And maybe lots of "etc." ;)
Plus we don't know what he looked like when they met.

I've noticed that some men have a tendency to let themselves go once they've achieved their goal.

When my brother decided to learn to sign he could hold a basic conversation after two days. I still can't do it and I have tried to learn several times.

And the reason he wanted to learn, A girl he dated had a daughter who was deaf. He wanted to be able to talk to her.

And some women don't?

Remember in High school where the Spanish teacher wouldn't let any other language be used? They call that immersion and that's just for an hour a day. There are also seminars that run for a couple weeks with the same rules, which increases the effectiveness.

Thus, over the month or so, Rav has been in a immersion course for sign language. He should be able to manage quite well.
Yeah, I guess I'm just miserable with languages. We had the immersion thing. We had immersion classes for ASL. My second year of college Russian was immersion.

And I remember almost no Russian, very little ASL, and a bit of Spanish.
I did find it remarkable that he went from zero knowledge of signing to conversing (although I'm not sure he was full-on doing it).

I enjoyed the episode, though.
Here's her car... Can't tell exactly what model/year.
