Really enjoyed this episode, especially with Kim riffing on Kevin Watchtell. Saul shows off his delaying tactics with Mr. Acker - priceless. "Long time listener 1st time caller". Not sure what Mike is going to end up with but makes the best of where he is.

Kudo's to dwatt in the last ep thread who said Mike could be in Mexico with Gus' Doctor from Breaking Bad
As I watched the episode, I went "ahhh they were right!".

My real question is why didn't Kim just accept being taken off Mesa Verde? And Schweikart being onto her where neither Paige or Kevin were was great. I feel like Kim is trying to blow up her life.

I think, in a sense, it was pride. Earlier, she had tried to withdraw on the grounds that there was a potential conflict of interest, but the client wouldn't let her. Now, she was being taken off because of misconduct, and her pride just couldn't take it. So she Jimmy'd her way out of being taken off the case.

No matter how hard she tries, she's really turning into Jimmy. I still think that's their end game for getting her out of the show (and thus Jimmy/Saul's life) before it hits Breaking Bad...it sinks in what she's turning into, and she can't take it.

Yeah this is clearly their exit strategy for her. It's going to suck but it's better than her dying.

I really don't understand what Kim is trying to accomplish here.
Is she trying to get herself fired - by Rich or Mesa Verde?
Disbarred?

As far as her "ending," I'm still holding out the 1% hope that she and Ignacio meet, fall in love and run away. The only happy ending for any of the characters on either show.

Nah. I would hate that. Nacho needs to take his father and RUN. Maybe he and his father can call for vacuum repairs too. (although we wouldn't be able to see that happen in real time)

I am terrible at predicting where the story is going. I love Nacho and hope he and his father live, but I won't be surprised if they don't make it to the end of the series.

:clapping::thumbsup: to @dwatt for figuring out that Mike was rescued by Gus. Cool to see the Doctor again.

Had we seen before the guy that broke into Kevin's? And what did Kim see in those photos?

I was hoping that the two guys that went on the bender because of the half off legal representation and got crazy 8 arrested would be younger versions of badger and skinny Pete. Their whole interaction and behaviors were definitely written in their style.

As far as Mr x, he was in the episode titled pimento from season 2. He was one of three thugs hired by the white suburban prescription drug dealer. Mike took his gun kicked his ass and kept his share of the payment for the job.

I was joking. G&G don't do happy endings - though one can hope. Maybe Gene Takovic gets one somehow.

"Mr. X" was in Season 1 - he was one of the three guys hired for the initial drug deal, and Mike ended up embarrassing the other two (armed only with a Pimento sandwich) and collecting all three commissions.

Good call on the photos! I don't think we know yet, but that might be an answer to my question. Once she saw something she could use, she didn't want to get taken off Mesa Verde any more, which is why she put up the fight with Rich. Before that, she probably would have welcomed Rich taking her off MV.
