Bad Card Reader Part 2

Okay we've pretty much established my DVR R10 card reader is toast. Can I hook up the hard drive to another R10 to increase the capacity? Also is there a way to copy the programs on the hard drive w/o seeing the "Insert Card" error message?

In order to hack an R10 you have to do a PROM hack also.
