I've reported this & sent offending files to Brorsoft last year, without any resolution.

Transfer Shows to Windows 10 PC with Tivo Desktop. Use Brorsoft Video Converter to convert .tivo files to .mp4 files for Plex. Tried many different Brorsoft settings to no avail. Seems like newer shows (post ca 2015) lose audio sync a lot. Older shows are more likely not to have the problem, But this is making my setup unusable.

Any known fixes? Any useable replacements for Brorsoft?

The .tivo files has an encryption layer that may be causing your problems. You should get it decrypted by TivoDecode (included with KMTTG) The decryption key is your Media Access Key.

I use KMTTG for decryption and encoding to MPEG4.

Brorosoft has a provision to enter the media access key, which I have done. The majority of .tivo files I've recorded are successfully converted (in the hundreds, at least). However, lately more and more of the converted files end up with the audio synch issue.

I downloaded & installed KTTMG. Used it to convert the latest .tivo file I was having issues with. While the audio synch is much improved, voices and lips are still approximately a second apart.

Not sure what is going on. I will see if I can live with it. Or try getting a better synch by fiddling with the configuration.

Thanks for your help.

I think its more of a time sync issue. I use VideoReDo QuickStreamFix feature on all my files.

I also do it to my DVD rips. On one of the episode, I was looking for the episode title to identify it and can't find it, until I QSF'd it

Thanks, I will try VideoReDo when I have a chance.

The combination of KMTTG and VideoReDo with the QuickStreamFix looks like it fixed my audio sync issue. All the files that were coming out of Brorsoft out of synch have been in sync. Brorsoft may have taken better advantage of the Nvidia GPUs, though
