Are TED talks still in the video podcasts?

I swear I used to get the TED talks on my Tivo.. Over the break, I was looking for the TED talks, and couldn't find them.

Are they still there?

(I usually do this so I can download them to the Tivo, then I play them to my other recorder, and watch/listen faster than realtime. I guess I could just do that with audio podcasts too on my phone, but the TED talks sometimes have useful video.)

Tangent: The other video podcasts I watch are the CNET HD ones.. But sometimes AFTER I delete a podcast (move to recently deleted), it starts downloading the SAME episode again. Doesn't always happen, but I noticed it again over the weekend. Also, I very often have to manually go check the list, since even though I tell it to get all of them, it doesn't really download all of them.

I would also like to know what happened to the TED talks.
Heh, thanks.. I'm not the only one. Maybe call TiVo? Yeah, I admit I probably should (have) called them, but personally, I view the podcasts as sort of an 'extra' feature. (There are a zillion never-to-be-implemented issues that I would far prefer be fixed.)
I sent an email to the ted.com folk a few weeks ago. They said that TED talks aren't on TiVo any more, but they are working to get them back.

It seems that there were some video format issues when the TED talks were viewed on TiVo (I can vouch for that, as some of the shows were not viewable), and ted.com is trying to encode the video in a manner that is agreeable with the TiVo units.

No date was offered for the return of TED talks to TiVo's web video service.

It probably wouldn't hurt to send a nice email to ted.com. Here's a link you can use. :)
Thanks.. I just sent them an email.

WorldBandRadio, whom did you speak with at TED? I'm trying to work with them and Tivo to get the TED talks back in video podcasts.

Private message me if you prefer to send details/contact info that way.
